An interesting new blog for Dutch legal professionals working in English

This is the first post in the new JURISfluence blog. I’m starting this blog primarily for the many Dutch legal professionals who have taken my training in the past. (I don’t know the exact figure, but I think I’ve had well over a thousand on my courses over the last ten years or so.) I have much more to say about working in English than I can possibly say on a short course.

I hope to blog on a wide variety of interesting subjects. However, I’d like to stay away from just listing grammar rules, definitions and common mistakes. I’d also like to try to make this more than just another legal English blog. Comments that speak directly to you as a Dutch-speaking lawyer are what I’m aiming for.

If this blog attracts interest and generates interesting conversation (or even debate), so much the better. Comments in Dutch are quite welcome; however, you might also think about posting in English. Practice, practice, practice!
